Duke Ellington High School: COVID-19 Notification

A letter to the Duke Ellington community was sent on August 10, 2021, notifying them of two positive COVID-19 cases in the building when students were present on August 2, and August 5, respectively.

Additionally, since the impacted in-person cohort must quarantine for 10 days, those individuals will not report for in-person activities during this time.

In addition to following all health and safety guidance issued by DC Health and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) regarding COVID-19, DC Public Schools commits to notifying a school community regarding a confirmed positive case of a staff member or student in a building where students are present.
