Takoma Elementary School: COVID-19 Notification

A letter to the Takoma community was sent on September 17, 2021, notifying them of a positive COVID-19 case in the building on September 14, 2021 and a positive case on September 16.

In addition to following all health and safety guidance issued by DC Health and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) regarding COVID-19, DC Public Schools commits to notifying a school community regarding a confirmed positive case of a staff member or student in a building where students are present.
