Truesdell Elementary School: COVID-19 Notification
ArticlesA letter to the Truesdell community was sent on July 15, 2021, notifying them of a positive COVID-19 case in the building when students were present on July 14, 2021.
Additionally, since impacted in-person classroom cohorts must quarantine for 10 days, students in those two classrooms will not report for in person activities and will remain at home during the quarantine period. All other in-person programing at our building will continue as usual.
In addition to following all health and safety guidance issued by DC Health and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) regarding COVID-19, DC Public Schools commits to notifying a school community regarding a confirmed positive case of a staff member or student in a building where students are present.
