Year in Review

Family Guide to Summer Learning is now online!

Every summer, DCPS provides extended summer learning opportunities such as literacy enrichment for elementary students and credit recovery for secondary students. Students who participate in summer programming have opportunities to form new friendships, strengthen academic skills, and prepare for the year ahead. Most programs will start on July 5, 2022, and run through August 5, 2022.

REMINDER: All summer students MUST take a COVID-19 test before their first day of summer programming. Bring a photo of your student’s negative test on their first day of summer learning.

Masks are Optional at DCPS

Starting Wednesday, March 16, and consistent with the latest health guidance and the current low levels in DC, masks will be optional for students, staff, and visitors in DC Public Schools, DCPS offices, and on OSSE-DOT transportation.
