Elementary English Learner Summer Academic Program (ELSAP)

Eligible students: Current PreK4 – 4th grade students who are newcomer Multilingual learners (MLs)
Dates: June 26 – July 31, 2024 
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Sites: Kimball ES, Raymond ES, Seaton ES

The English Learner Summer Academic Program (ELSAP) is a DCPS program specifically for Multilingual Learners (MLs) who are still developing their English proficiency. Language development will be integrated with hands-on content and literacy development. This is a program for students who are receiving English for Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL) Services. Students will be notified by their school if they are eligible to participate.

Multilingual Learners can also participate in Summer Acceleration programs.
