Elementary English Learner Summer Academic Program (ELSAP)

Eligible students: Current Kindergarten – 4th grade students who are newcomer Multilingual learners (MLs)
Dates: June 22 – July 31, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Sites: Noyes ES and Raymond ES

The English Learner Summer Academic Program (ELSAP) is a DCPS program specifically for newcomer Multilingual Learners (MLs) who are at a beginning level of developing their English proficiency. Language development will be integrated with hands-on content and literacy development. This is a program for students who are receiving English for Speaker of Other Languages (ESOL) Services. Students will be notified by their school if they are eligible to participate.

All Multilingual Learners can also participate in Summer Acceleration programs.
