Enrichment

Middle School enrichment is available for current 6th through 8th grade students. DCPS’ summer 2026 enrichment includes both academic and non-academic opportunities that are designed to be exciting, engaging, and educational.

To be eligible for enrichment, students must be promoted at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 school year. Students who are not promoted, must attend a MS Acceleration Academy.

Acceleration Academy

Middle School Acceleration Academy is designed for students in grades 6 through 8 who have been flagged for retention by their school principals. Students will be scheduled in ELA and math. Students will be re-evaluated for promotion by their school principal following the conclusion of MS Acceleration Academy.
